🚀 Workflow 1: Improve your team’s sales performance

Turn every call recording into a personalized training session for your reps.

This workflow will automatically transcribe each new call recording, analyze it for key insights, log the data in a spreadsheet, and email it to the sales rep. 

Here's the setup 👇

Step 1: Start by creating a Zap.

Step 2: Choose Fireflies.ai as your trigger app and select "New Meeting Created" as the trigger event. This will start when a new call recording is added to Fireflies.ai.

Step 3: Add an AI service like OpenAI to your Zap. Set it up to analyze the call transcript. In the instructions for the AI, ask it to find:

  • Main points discussed

  • Customer concerns or objections

  • Things the sales rep did well

  • Areas where the sales rep can improve

  • Next steps or follow-up tasks

Step 4: Add a Google Docs action to your Zap. Please set it to create a new document with the AI's analysis. This gives you a readable summary of each call.

(Optional) Add two more actions:

  1. A Slack action to send a message with key points from the call.

  2. A ClickUp action to create a task for any follow-up work.

This way, your team stays informed, and essential tasks don't get forgotten.

Step 6: Finally, add a Google Sheets action. Set it up to add a new row with important information from each call. This helps you keep track of all calls over time and spot trends.

By setting up this Zap, you'll save time on call analysis and ensure important insights from sales calls are captured and acted on.

🔥 Workflow 2: Automate Content Repurposing

This clever workflow uses AI to transform a single piece of content into various formats, saving you time and boosting your content output.

Here's how it works 👇

Step 1: In Zapier, create a new Zap.

Step 2: For the trigger, choose Google Drive and select "New File in Folder.” Then, choose the folder where you'll upload the content to be repurposed.

Step 3: Choose "Get File Content" as the action in Google Drive and map the file from the trigger step to this action.

Step 4: Add OpenAI and Choose "Create Completion" as the action.

In the prompt field, write instructions for repurposing the content. For example 🔽 

Prompt: “Repurpose the following content into:

  1. 1 Twitter post (280 characters max)

  2. 1 LinkedIn article (800-1000 words each)

  3. 1 email newsletter (300-400 words)

  4. 2 Instagram captions (200 characters max) 

Maintain the core message while adapting the tone for each platform. Here's the content:"

Map the file content from the Google Drive action to the end of this prompt.

Step 5: Add Google Docs and choose "Create Document" as the action.

Name the document something like "Repurposed Content - ". Map the OpenAI output to the document content.

Step 6: Add Gmail and choose "Send Email" as the action.

Set up an email template notifying you that new content has been created.

Include the link to the Google Doc with the repurposed content.

Here’s what the final flow looks like:

While this Zap won't replace human creativity entirely, it's an excellent tool for extending the reach of your content and ensuring consistency across platforms. 

For best results, add a human review/editing round before publishing. This approach saves a significant amount of time compared to repurposing content from scratch.
